Cold start to March
Mar 07
March 2007 is only eight days old and has normally been the coldest month of my recollection expect for in the past two years, so far the two year hiatus of a chilly March has not repeated itself. Last Friday Maine received a decent snow storm where most of the State received 5-15″ of snow but the following weekend most of the snow melted away due to 45° weather. After what seemed to be an introduction to spring, Monday - Wednesday ushered in bitterly cold temperatures ranging from -10° - 10° with the sporadic gusts of wind.
