Nor’easter leaves Maine behind
Feb 13
Maine has been doing very well this winter. Bangor has only received roughly 4 inches of snow this winter. We had green grass and weather in the 40’s all winter long. Yesterday, the North East Coast was hit buy a large snow storm. Most places such as Washington D.C., Connecticut and Massachusetts received anywhere from 1 foot to 4 feet which is pretty decent snow storm. Maine, fortunately only received 2-6 inches depending on where you live. Last year Maine had a blizzard that brought in 6 feet of snow, I still have the photos. I think I have them posted somewhere here.
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. I think I am going to purchase some Chocolate Covered Cherries for myself and possibly go to a party the Campus Crusade for Christ is hosting. We shall see. I am still looking for a job in Virginia, as you can see, it has been unsuccessful.
Today is such a nice day for this time of year. I am looking out the window of my “office” and the Penobscot River is very full at the moment with cold black water spotted with white sheets of ice. In some areas you can see the clear blue sky on the surface of the calm water.
