The Chronicles of Narnia

Dec 11

Snows here and it’s cold. If anyone has read The Chronicles of Narnia, please let me know what you thought of the book. I really enjoyed the first three books- I still have the others to read, which I am in the process of reading. What I really enjoy about the first two books is that they run parallel to the Bible in many ways. I am glad that the recent movie follows very closely with the book. I highly recommend that everyone should go see this movie and read the book.

Once I finish The Return of the King, I am going to start on the Left Behind book series. Mom gave me books 2-11, I’m going to buy the first book from Church next week.

I saw this movie last Friday, it’s AMAZING. It follows the book completley. I loved reading these books as a child and still do now. This is a must see movie!

I just finished reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which James let me borrow and it was great! I don’t think it matters what age you are; you will feel that you are part of the story and not want to put it down as it holds your attention so intently! I had such a sad feeling coming over me when I realized what the Lion was going to do as he walked away that night leaving the children. What a burden he carried…do you think that is what our Lord felt like knowing what He was about to do for us who are so unworthy? I knew what the ending was going to be but I still had to keep turning those pages and devouring every word! What a great story to read to children and share with them the parallel to the Bible. I loved it and I hope that when James (my son of whom I am so proud of!!) and I see each other at Christmas in Chicago we can see the movie together! God Bless and Merry Christmas 2005

I just got back from Chicago and watched the movie with my mother, Aaron and his son. It was an amazing movie. I am glad that it was true to the book.
