It looks like Maine is going to have another rainy week… which is unfortunate because fall is one of Maine’s best seasons. I’m at work right now, on break, waiting for four laptops to finish getting imaged. It used to not take so long to image devices, but I think our Cisco switch in the shop is dying.

I’ve been thinking Lord of the Rings a lot today, I watched the extended editions of Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers this past weekend on my widescreen… yes, I keep talking about it because I am really enjoying it… it’s my first 16×9. I also read Return of the King a little bit last night. I love the way Tolkien writes. My favorite portion of the book is Tom Bombadil and the Ents. I love the Ents, Treebeard, Quickbeam, etc. The Last March of the Ents… it’s pretty exciting. My mom bought me a book named “Finding God in Lord of the Rings”. Even before reading that book, a lot of Christianity is in LOTR, Tolkien was a Christian as was C.S. Lewis. I am in the processes of reading through The Chronicles of Narnia which is also really good series if you like fantasy. If you want a good Encyclopedia of LOTR, check out The Encyclopedia of Arda.

After work I went to the gym for a little bit and headed to Best Buy and purchased Batman Begins on DVD, $15.
